A Beauty Balm from Tea Gardens & Silk Roads

Camellia oil has been treasured for centuries along tea-growing regions, used by women to soften skin, refine pores, and keep the face youthful under harsh sun and bitter wind. It created the softest barrier - invisible, breathable, satin to the touch.

This balm continues that secret.
Made with camellia oil, rice bran wax, and white tea extract, it melts instantly into the skin and leaves a silk–not shine finish. No stickiness, no heavy wax feel - just velvet protection, like the whisper of a silk scarf.

Ingredients (makes 30 ml - one luxury jar)

Base Oils:

15 ml Camellia Oil (Camellia japonica / Tsubaki)
2 ml Squalane (olive-derived; enhances absorption)
optional but highly recommended

Solidifier:

3 gm Rice Bran Wax
(substitute: 2.5-3 gm beeswax, but texture will be less silky)

Actives (Choose 1):

¼ tsp White Tea Extract (oil-soluble)
tone evening, antioxidant protection
OR
¼ tsp Vitamin E (tocopherol)
skin softness, longer shelf life

Aroma (Soft + High-End):

1 drop Rose Absolute
1 drop Neroli
(never more - luxury has restraint)

Optional botanical garnish:

A single jasmine petal pressed into balm before it sets (for beauty, not function)

Method

Warm camellia oil + squalane + rice bran wax gently over simmering water until melted.
Remove from heat.
Add your chosen active (white tea extract OR vitamin E) and stir well.
Add rose and neroli (max 2 drops total).
Pour into jar.
Optionally, press one tiny dried jasmine petal into surface.

Why Rice Bran Wax Instead of Beeswax?

Rice bran wax creates:

Non-greasy feel
Pore-refining texture
No “waxy layer” on the skin

How to Use
