The Story
Woven in the heart of Morocco, Souk des Étoiles carries the colours and spirit of ancient gathering places - where travellers, artisans and storytellers crossed paths beneath desert skies.
Handwoven by Amazigh artisans, this vintage Boujad rug is rich with symbolic geometry and intuitive design. Diamond forms, protective motifs and rhythmic patterns flow through the piece, reflecting a weaving tradition where every rug becomes a personal expression.
Its sun-faded terracotta base is illuminated with touches of turquoise, soft ivory and golden earth tones - colours reminiscent of painted doors, desert landscapes and treasures found along old caravan roads.
The central diamonds create a pathway through the rug, like markers on a journey - a reminder of movement, connection and the stories carried from one place to another.
