VI - The CaravanSerai Sea Roads
A Walkable Journey Along the Maritime Silk Routes
This journey is not a cruise. It is a coastal and sea-linked road, following ports, anchorages, and old
harbour quarters where ships replaced camels and tides replaced mountain passes.
Here, trade moved by wind and season. Incense, oils, ceramics, cloth, and stories travelled
farther by water than by land.
Before borders, there were ports. Before roads, there were currents.
The route is experienced at walking pace, where distance is measured by harbours crossed,
waiting endured, and horizons watched.
